Well…it is the passionate week of the Stamp Simply Team! Just in case you have been living under a rock in the last week, Sharon has been celebrating her Blogaversary this week with an INSANE amount of goodies brought to you by…US…her Stamp Simply Team! We thought it would be great to be involved in her celebration and volunteered to give some stuff away! Well…today is MY turn, and I am going to get passionate about things here!
I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT
Jesus. “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: For it is the power of God unto Salvation for everyone who believes.” Romans 1:16. I am passionate about Jesus Christ and the relationship I have with Him.
My Husband. Little did I know when I walked into my college German class, I would be sitting down and having my future husband teach me. Not only once, but twice! I had him as a teacher for two semesters, and the rest is history!!
My Girls: My life, my happiness, my utmost joy and the loves of my life. Absolutely no words can describe how passionately I love them.
My Voice. God has blessed me with a gift so powerful, it encompasses the core of my being. It is a gift so intimate and yet so grand it cannot be compared with anything else in my life. It is me. It is everything that I am about. I am so grateful that I have had the chance to develop it to the point where I can musically express anything I want to, much more comfortably even than with words.
Learning. I am a forever learner. I am constantly wanting to learn more and strive more and be more so I will become better at the next thing on my list…
Teaching. My father was a music teacher. I was blessed enough to have him teach me as a child. He was a great teacher, and I learned a lot from him. I think I have touched a lot of people’s lives through teaching. As a matter of a fact, I know I have. I am so proud of my students, and hope to always learn more so I can always teach more.
Traveling. I am so excited in my life to have the opportunity to travel. A lot. This is a HUGE part of our life as a family. A life filled with learning about cultures, people, their stories. Nothing is more interesting to me than to hear people’s stories.
Stamping/Designing. This almost goes without saying on here, but I love this job, this community, this passion of stamping and designing. Who would have thought what a journey this would have been. I am always changing, deciding what brings me joy, and deciding to commit my whole self to this art has been scary and wonderful all at the same time.
Would you like some candy? How about this VERY FIRST set from Papertrey ink “Paper Tray?”
What about YOU? What is your passion? Please share it, and really think about it. If you do not play by these rules, you will not be eligible for the blog candy. I am passionate about that!

I am incredibly passionate about my children…I want them to do their best, to play their best, and to be their best…I want them to be treated fairly…I never want their feelings hurt…I often think it’s hurts me worse than them if they ever do have hurt feelings or are treated unfairly.
September 10, 2008 at 4:43 am
A couple things I’m very passionate about is my Faith and my relationship I have with God who gave me the next best thing I’m passionate about. My husband. Both of these men are the rock that I lean on. I could go on about what I’m passionate but I don’t want to take up the whole page.

I am passionate about my studies. For almost 6 years I’ve been at uni and am now doing a PhD. I have loved every single minute of it and I am so grateful that I listened to the still small voice that was whispering to me that this was what I needed to do, and that I didn’t listen to all those big loud voices who were telling me I was crazy. My life is so blessed because of that.
September 10, 2008 at 4:59 am
I too am passionate about my relationship with Christ. Serving Him gives definition to my life. My passion for God allows me to be the perfect wife for my husband and the mother that my 4 children need me to be. My other joys in life revolve around relationships with my friends, my church and being creative.

I’ Christian too, and this fact influence my life a lot, for about 5 years my passion is sharing my experience as beiing Christian with others, especially young people, I’m one of founders http://www.wyplynnaglebie.pl which is completly great for me and other people, we started this site with my 2 friends after we met on Lednica, which is the largest Christian meeting here in Poland, on Lednica meeting hundreds of thousand young people (age is mainly 13-25) choose Jesus to be their main aim and to live with Him, today our forum has nearly 2.000 users which is really big number for us, because this people not only communicate via forum, but they organise different events both Christian and cultural, they are reporters and journalists in different media, they are volunteers, musicians, and they truly change thier local community, we’re very proud of them, of course we work as volunteers and this make it soo special, we don’t treat is as work, but as great pleasure and great gift from God, this is my main passion, of course I live with my family, my parents and sister and 2 brothers, they’re my passion too, my passion is music, I play guitar often, and I don’t forget about my passion to create, mainly cards I love stamps:D
have a great day
God bless you!

What is my passion?
Like you, I am passionate about my relationship with Christ. It is comforting to know that with Him in my life I am never alone..through the good and the bad, He is always there for me…to lift me up, to guide me, to nurture me…He is EVERYTHING to me.
I am passionate about life, for it is the greatest blessing. I live each day joyfully, thankful for all the blessings that have been bestowed to me.
I am passionate about my family…both immediate and extended. They teach me, and have taught me, the meaning of unconditional love and the value of kinship. Everyday is a fairytale because I have them in my life.
I am passionate about volunteerism for it allows me to share the many gifts that have been given to me.
I am passionate about knowledge because it was not always as accessible as it is today.
I am passionate about creativity for it allows all of us to express ourselves when words fail us.
I am passionate about true friendships because they are the angels of the physical world.
I think I have taken up enough of your time and space on your blog. Thank you for sharing a part of you with all of us:o)
September 10, 2008 at 8:47 am
I am passionate about my husband, traveling, learning and horse riding! I love my husband to bits as he really cares about me and gets me like no other. Plus, he loves to travel as well and we’re both the type that can’t stay still! We need to travel and enjoy it very much! We both love learning as well and teach each other new things and share new interests. As for horse riding, I’ve always loved horses and getting to ride them is always a blessing! Thank you for the chance!

I am passionate about creating happiness. Whether its stamping or crafting something to bring a smile to someone’s face or helping them to bring them joy.
Thanks so much for the chance to win!
September 10, 2008 at 9:54 am
The most important thing in my life is my husband and my three sisters and their families. We girls have lost our parents and it seems we turn to each other to fill so many roles. My husband is my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. It is because of his encouragement that I have ventured into my own stamp line with Rubbernecker. Stamping and painting has become so much more than a hobby to me. It is a creative outlet that fills so many places in my life. It relieves my stress from work, it gives me the opportunity to teach others and it affords me a vehicle to express myself artistically.
I am an operations director for several medical practices. The most fulfilling part of my job is dealing with people. I am driven my relationships with people and thrive on interaction. I would dry up and blow away if I had to be in a cubicle and never interact with people. I have never had children but find myself as an older woman in management that my need for mothering is met by managing young woman who many times need more than a manager. They need love, understanding, acceptance and mentoring as many of them have not had the same fortune as me to have wonderful parents and families.
Thanks for the opportunity to win your blog candy but more significantly for requiring me to reflect on what drives me in my life.
September 10, 2008 at 10:03 am
My passion is looking at great blogs with great inspirational samples — like yours!
September 10, 2008 at 10:17 am
What a beautiful post. Gives me alot to think about. I am passionate about my family. My husband is the best, for me. He is always there with a listening ear, to encourage me, and I am there for him. I am so blessed to have my best friend as my husband. I have 2 wonderful sons that live far away for work. I am so blessed that we have a very close relationship and that we speak to each other very often, as they are 19 and 20. I don’t see them as much as I would like, but I know that’s the way it is. I have to let them grow up and learn now. My parents, who live far away as well. They are in good health, and happily retired. We see each other as often as possible, and speak to each other at least 3 times a week. Everyday I am thankful for my family, and realize truly how lucky I am.
Thank you for the chance to win your blog candy!

I am passionate about my family – husband, 4 children, parents, etc. I love to do crafts and share a bit of joy with those around me. I wish there was more that I was passionate about – but the kids do take up most of my time and energy.
September 10, 2008 at 10:33 am
One of the things I am very passionate about it helping my grandparents. Although my grandfather is no longer with us, I made sure that I was by his side helping my grandmother the last 2 years of his life. He was bedridden the entire time. It was very difficult to see him like that but I knew that I needed to be there for him and for my grandmother. Now that he is gone, I make sure that I am still there for my grandmother everyday. Family is the most important thing that we are given and should not be taken advantage of.
September 10, 2008 at 10:34 am
I am passionate about my God and my grandkids. I prayed before they were even born that I would live a God-centered life for them to see. I want to be a big part of their walk with Christ. For awhile I was able to watch them while their parents worked. Because of my son’s illness, that has been on hold for almost a year now. I still try to see them and keep them as often as I can. We have dinner every Friday as a family. Of course, I continue to pray for my kids and grandkids and all those who have a part in their lives.
September 10, 2008 at 10:38 am
I’m definitely passionate about a lot of things–Jesus, my family, paper-crafting, etc. I am also really passionate about enjoying, not just seeing, all the wonders God has created in our life.
September 10, 2008 at 11:11 am
I too am Christian, and am passionate about sharing His word with others. I am passionate about my family (my children and my hubby), my friends and my hobbies. Recently I have become SUPER passionate about trying to help our 4 year old son, to figure out what is going on with him and get the help we need for him. He seems to have something called Sensory Integration Disorder, and something else (possibly Autism or Asperger’s but we won’t know until we get Assessed).
Thank you so much for this chance at winning some great blog candy :)!
Hugs,
catherine

My passion is to serve Christ in whatever way He would have me to do. Right now that is through music and cardmaking. I helped to start a card ministry at our church and we make cards for shut ins, the military, church members who need encouragement and to help raise funds for special projects at church–the first was an elevator for the disabled and now A/C for our Fellowship hall. I’m always looking for new ideas to show our stamping group and really appreciate blogs like yours and Sharon’s.
Thanks so much for offering this blog candy.

I am passionate about….
God – If God wasn’t in our lifes I would be afraid where we might be today.
Family – Happiness, Joy, New adventures, and you can always count on GOD and your family being there for you.
Stamping – Is a craft I love and it helps me escape from reality and helps release stress. I love making something from my heart to share with family and friends. The smile and excitement of them opening a handmade card and project makes all the money and time you put into it worth everything.
Thanks for making me think of some passionate things in my life.
Thanks for a chance at this sweet candy.

Passion for me includes my love for the Lord, spending precious time (since we live so far from each other) with my children and grandchildren, enjoying my husband because he’s the absolute best, playing golf with husband and friends, treasuring the friendships that have been cultivated through the years, paper crafting, and making it a point to learn at least one thing a day, whether it’s a new word, or a new stamping technique.

Thanks Becky! I am passionate about God — the pursuit of God, the character of God and serving HIM! Everything I do comes back to God and the gifts he has given all of us. I am also passionate about my girls and teaching them to be passionate, upright women someday. I am passionate about many things. Besides God, Family and my Country, I am passionate about finding a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. My 14 year old granddaughter has had this since 18 months of age, she has been poked over 6000 times between needles, daily sugar level tests and moving her pump site around. She wants anything to be a normal teenage girl, and I want that for her too, but also want to know that she has the chance to have children of her own, and lead a healthy and normal life. See, I am VERY passionate about that…wouldn’t a cure be great!!! Thanks for letting me have the soap box…I feel better already…!
September 10, 2008 at 12:28 pm
I enjoyed reading your list. How beautiful. To be honest, I am passionate about myself. I always need to be conscious of not getting burned out with job, and demands made of my time. I need to take time just for myself. I am passionate about that.
September 10, 2008 at 12:29 pm
I’m passionate about being the kind of wife God wants me to be. I sure don’t want to screw up this blessing-of-a-marriage God gave me! I’m thrilled to say that my hubby is passionate about being a godly partner to me, too. It’s doesn’t get much better than that!
September 10, 2008 at 12:36 pm
I am passionate about my daughter, Rebekah. I want her to grow up knowing she is loved more than life itself. I want her to be courageous, strong, intelligent, humorous, and have her own passion for life. She’s my blessing from God. We adopted after 17 years of marriage and a long road of trials. She was dropped into our lives at the perfect moment. We were in the delivery room when she was born and the first time I touched her I knew my life had just changed forever.
September 10, 2008 at 12:51 pm

What a great question. I am passionate about my husband, without him I wouldn’t have so many other things to be passionate about, like my children – I love them so much! I have three children and I have stood by while I was told they would not survive (at different points in their lives) but guess what our love prevailed and they are all with me! Now a wonderful 18, 7 & 4 yrs old. Life is wonderful! My friends are something I am very dedicated and passionate about and I’m very passionate about how I live my life with etchics, morality and thankfulness everyday. I have so much to be thankful and passionate about. Thanks for letting me share that. And this one goes without saying that a personal passion is the ability to be creative through stamping and scrapbooking – Hugs & Kisses for that! Cheryl

I am passionate about my children. After finding ourselves suddenly on our own 5 years ago when their father decided to start another life with another woman (after 14 years of marriage), we fumbled for a bit but bounced back and are stronger than ever! My two kids, now teens, have been such a joy their entire lives, and we have had so much fun in our journey together. They have been a constant source of entertainment! My daughter is now 17 and just left for college, on a full four-year scholarship (I sure miss her!). My son is 15 and though he misses his sister, he is really starting to take off in his own direction. He is a wonderful young man. I could not have asked for better children.
September 10, 2008 at 1:09 pm
Your post was beautiful and so well written, Becky, that I think my eyes watered. My number one passion is life and living each day as best and as full as I can. I almost lost this life early in the spring and prioritizing what’s important has also become a passion.
September 10, 2008 at 1:10 pm
I am passionate about my family. It sometimes brings tears to my eyes just to look at them and feel my heart swell. I hope so deeply that I am able to pass on the best parts of myself to them and that they will grow in their love of Christ, family, learning and appreciate all the blessings they enjoy.
September 10, 2008 at 1:11 pm

Stamping and scrapbooking. No explanation needed there!
September 10, 2008 at 1:34 pm
What a great topic for discussion.
I am passionate about a number of things. Firstly, I think I am most passionate about my daughter. She is 2 1/2 years old and I take my role as a Mother very seriously. I love her more then can be put into words…it’s something that comes from my heart and soul like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I want her to grow up with a solid foundation, built on honesty, trust and love among many other things.
I’m very passionate about family. I think it’s important for families to spend time together…to eat dinner together…to share their smiles and tears together. I’m very thankful for my job because without it, I wouldn’t be able to contribute to my family’s well being.
Although these are a few highlights of the things that I am passionate/thankful for, I am also thankful for people like you. You give me the opportunity to stop and take a moment to think outside of the every day hustle and bustle that we sometimes let take over ourselves.
Have a wonderful day š
Amanda

What a fun question. My friends have all said that I’m a very passionate person about the things that interest me…and don’t care at all about other things š The things I am most passionate for (currently) are my fiance (I can’t wait until December when I get to marry him!), mathematics, travel, and scuba diving. Stamping is on it’s way to becoming a passion, but I haven’t had a lot of time to do it yet.

I have 4 major passions in my life at this time. 1. My walk with God. I strive to be the kind of person who sets an example for everyone I come in contact with. Many people would never have Christ in their lives if not for the examples set by Christians. 2. My children’s salvation. I pray without ceasing that my children are saved and walk with Christ daily. I was not a Christian as they were growing up so I neglected that part of their life and I so regret it. 3. Animal abuse. I do English Bulldog rescue and it breaks my heart the way some people treat God’s creatures. I have eight of these babies at my house now and have had as many as 12. I am constantly on my soapbox about spay/neuter and the responsibility of pet ownership! 4. My study of Bible prophecy. I just started taking classes on Revelations and I am sooo hooked!! I love this! I can’t seem to get enough.
Thank you for sharing your passions with us and for your blog.

I am passionate about Jesus! Next is oxygen, and then water. Other great things I am passionate about: my husband, friends, family, my cat, nature, yoga, cross country skiing, bicycling, stamping, buying stamping supplies (especially paper), reading, watching movies, reading blogs, candles, stars, hugs, helping others, listening to others.
September 10, 2008 at 3:02 pm
I must admit, although I am a Christian, I have not been as passionate about my faith as I really ought to be. I have not fallen out of the Hands of God, but I need to rekindle my passion and zeal I once had.
Family, I have a dh whom I’ve been married to for nearly 22 years. He’s my best friend. I am fortunate to be a SAHM. LOVE IT!! I have 2 sons & 1 daughter and they are my world.
My hobby/passion is with scrapbooking, card making, and PAPER! I love playing with paper.
Thanks for making me think and reminding me of what is important!!

I’m not sure I have any passion left. I think I may have used it up in my first 61 years. I’m pretty mellow about everything anymore. I used to be very passionate about my kids but they’re 39 and 38 now and can manage their own passion. But I guess if I have to find something now it will be my 7 furbaby kitties. I get pretty upset when the neighborhood dogs come sniffing around for them. They are my kids now so I guess my passion lies within them.
September 10, 2008 at 3:12 pm
I am passionate about my kids and making sure they are happy and that they feel loved and safe. I want them to enjoy life and everything that it can offer.

What a lovely foundation for life. You are a passionate woman.
I am passionate about my daughter first and foremost. Second I am passionate about the man I love. Third I am very paddionalte about my family and my close friends who are a part of my family. I am passionate about my football team(Go Broncos) and about my crafting. I am very passionate about my nieces and nephews and keeping the family together. I am passionate about reading and music and a good education. And I am passionate about making life worthwile. Thank you for sharing with us and allowing us to share with you.
September 10, 2008 at 3:16 pm
I am a mother so my first passion is my kids education. I am not sure if it is a passion or an obsession. They would call it an obsession – I call it a passion. I love to watch them learn and get so much joy from hearing about their day. I love when they tell me something new that they have learned or tell me about a new book they are reading. I help with the take-home-reading program in my son’s class so I also have the enjoyment of seeing all the other children improve throughout the year. I love watching children learn!
My second passion is card-making. I am sure I don’t need to explain too much there. I think we all have a passion for paper-crafting otherwise we wouldn’t be here. It still amazes me how many others out there share my passion in life.
September 10, 2008 at 3:22 pm
I am so moved by your words. They are so filled with strength of character and reflect your beauty! (inside and out)
I am passionate about being passionate! It’s true. I cannot do anything half hearted. I give my heart and soul to whatever I embrace, be it love, learning, or creating! If I am learning something new, I have to learn everything I can about it! When I am creating something, I have to see it through to the end before I can rest! In love, I share every piece of myself, I do not hold anything back, and would never want to. The wonderful thing is that when you are passionate about something you get so much more from it!
Have a fabulous day! And thank you for the chance at this wonderful set!
smiles,Deena

Amen….Living by faith is so exciting and I am so grateful for what Jesus has done for all who believe…thank you Jesus. Another thing I am passionate about is the Crisis Pregnancy Centers. I have been blessed with the time to make cards and sell them. The thing that drives me to sell the cards is that I like to bring awareness to the Crisis Pregnancy Centers by donating a percentage to the center which gives me the opportunity to talk about the centers. It is always surprising to me how many people still don’t know what the centers offer. Savings lives and giving the babies and moms a chance. Thank you.
Blessings

Present holds everything for me for life, so living in present is what I am passionate about. Spreading joy, making some else smile and enjoying the moment. Thanks for providing us this oppurtunity to win a blog candy.

I’ve found that what I’m passionate about has changed in the last few years. I used to be passionate about my job as a kindergarten teacher. After retiring from that, my focus has turned to caring for myself better so that I can live a longer more healthful life. My sons are grown and married and starting families of their own. We will welcome our first grand child in a few months. I know that I’ll be excited about life for a whole new reason. By taking good care of myself, both physically and mentally, I am more able to care for my family and serve God. Crafting, quilting, and gardening help me have a full life.

What a thought-provoking post, Becky! Thanks for sharing your personal thoughts with us. I am passionate about my realtionship with my husband. We don’t have children and our extended families are far away so we mostly have each other. He is wonderful and we are a great team together. He always encourages me no matter what I want to do and I try to do the same for him. I am also passionate about my two cat children. They were rescued from the wild and they have brought us so much joy for the least 10 years! I am passionate about the work I do – I work in the biomedical field and I hope that our discoveries will help treat or cure the diseases that afflict so many people. Finally, I am passionate about my crafts – paper crafting is relatively new for me, but I love it! I love beading and other jewelry-making, too.

I am passionate about clog dancing! I did it for 20+ years on a weekly basis and just love it. Love the adrenaline rush I get. But I have a back injury that has sidelined me…probably caused by the 20+ years of dancing that I did. But, I still think about it daily…always puts a smile on my face. In its place, I’ve discovered card making and am enjoying it very much…is becoming my new passion!
September 10, 2008 at 6:15 pm
I’m passionate about so many things, but one of the main ones (besides hubby and daughter) is my horses. I absolutely love anything and everything to do with them. I am so very fortunate to be able to share my love of horses with my daughter! I am waiting for the day when we can have two horses and can “ride off into the sunset” together š But, for now, I’ll have to be content sharing.

I am passionate about my children, even though they are 20 and 21. I was a single mom for 11 years and my kids and I were a tight unit. Even though we have gone through some very rough times in the past 7 years I desire so much for my children and I do give 100% of myself to my kids!

WOW! What a refreshing post for today! I am passionate about my faith in Jesus Christ and my husband.
September 10, 2008 at 7:09 pm
Just thinking of what I’m passionate about gets me choked up…definitely my biggest passion, and the only reason I get out of bed in the morning, is Christ. And I have a passion (or yearning) for that to be my children’s passion, too.
My oldest is blind, and I have a passion for his life to be happy, exciting, accessible, free from prejudice, and fulfilling to him.
Thank you for making me stop and think about this…now I’m all choked up again…
September 10, 2008 at 7:16 pm

Passion….my first thought was my grandchildren, especially my 4 year old grandson who was diagnosed with autism. Caleb is my special little munchkin. Now if you want to talk about stamping and scrapbooking, thats what I do for fun and it has been my passion for about 20 years now. I don’t even think it was popular back then!

learning new things – new languages, about new people and their cultures – knowledge;
my stamping hobby which has introduced me to some wonderful friends and is going stronger than ever after nearly 18 years.

I am passionate about my family. I could honestly not ask for a better one. Growing up I had the largest cheering crowd, the most sholders to cry on, the most hug to give and receive. As I have grown they have been there at graduations (preschool to college), sporting events (no matter how much more they had going on), they have watched me get married even thought it was miles from their own homes.
My parents have helped me through the toughest times and discusses that a child/woman has had to make. They help with advice and a listening ear, never judging me or saying “I told you so” when the decision was wrong. They truly love me unconditionally. And even now that I am married on my own, they have not abandoned me. They are here with me every step of the way and I would never have it any other way.
They have shaped me into who I am and who I continually become. I love them with all I have and more if that is possible…
September 10, 2008 at 8:33 pm
I love your post today! As a brand-new stay-at-home mom (I am an aspiring Domestic Goddess), I am very passionate about my family & my home. I want my son to have everything in a secure home life that I had & that I didn’t have. I am passionate about having a peaceful haven from the world where my husband, son & I can be free from the stresses & worries that are out in the world past our front door.
September 10, 2008 at 8:45 pm
Hi Rebecca…thank you for your inspirational blog….my passions –hmmm, let’s see…i’m at a cross road right now but I have put my faith in God..so I guess my first passion would be My trust in him..i firmly believe that he never gives us more than we can handle…he has a plan for us and when we don’t understand what’s going on or why…we have to take a step back and let him do his work…
Second on my list are my children, i have four children and two step-daughters..and I love them each in a different way…sometimes it catches me by surprise. I have one daughter who is a survivor of sexual abuse at the hands of her biological father and I’m passionate about making sure she doesn’t feel like a victim but instead feels like a survivor…Passionate about rejoicing in all she has accomplished despite this tragedy…
Third on my list, I’m passionate about my husband…we’ve been together for 15 years, he’s my best friend, my wall to lean on..he’s a great father/stepfather…..I’m more in love now than ever….

Well, thanks for your blog…i read it often…i’m new to cardmaking/scrapping…i have a ton of things including a Cricut and don’t know where to begin but I’m sure that eventually, I’ll be able to post something…
thanks, jeanette

September 10, 2008 at 9:30 pm
Joan sent me here.. thank you Joan!
I love the card making, but would not call it passionate (only because there is not enough time to spend on it yet). My passion is first and formost with My Lord. He is the driving force in my life. My next passion is my husband and children, in that order. I had my priorities turned around for a while, family first and God next……..wrong order!!! we got it straight and back on track, thank you God for being patient with me.
AS for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15.

I even wrote a paper in 7th grade about how forgotten some of our elderly are. I still have it! It is my goal to make a difference in someones life, and to make sure they are ready to meet thier maker when the time comes. How wonderful it is to see someone accept Christ or renew their faith, especially in their twilight years. I thank God daily for the compassion He has given me for these special people.

I’m passionate about my faith and trying to continue to strengthen it. I’m passionate about my husband. He is my best friend and truly knows me. I’m passionate about travel as well. I think that it’s important to experience different parts of the world- near and far. I’m passionate about stamping. It has really brought so much pleasure and true friendships into my life, as well as a wonderful hobby. I”m passionate about cooking. It’s the nurturer in me that loves seeing everyone happy and enjoying a meal together. I’m passionate about nature. I love being outside in the sunshine and enjoying the changing of the seasons. Finally I’m passionate about trying my best to remain a positive person. It’s tough some days, but challenges are always good.
September 11, 2008 at 2:54 am
I am passionate about encouraging people. God has given me that as a spiritual gift (it makes a nice balance to my critical nature!). I make cards to encourage people. In every card I make I write some message of encouragement — this makes my 95 cards at Christmas a huge committment of time and energy. God is always faithful to give me the right words to say. In addition to that, I work at a preschool for handicapped children and for me, it is more of a ministry than a job.

My passion is my family. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for them…any time, any place, anything. Often my friends do not understand my commitment to them which is hard, but I will never change my “passion” to them.

I share my no.1 passion with you! Jesus is my first and foremost passion. Without Him my life would be completely hopeless. I am also passionate about my wonderful husband of 24 years and our two beautiful daughters. I am so passionate about stamping and card making that when we were transferred to another state with my husband’s job, I got the study in the new house for my stamp room!!! Hubby had the study in our old house for 12 years and it was my turn this time. Yippee! I am also passionate right at this moment about organizing my massive stamp collection. I just hope I can keep up my momentum because I am definitely daunted by it, too. Thanks for the time to reflect and also for the chance to win some great stamps(that I don’t have yet – yippee!).

I am passionate about my children. I never thought that I would be a mother and now I can’t imagine being anything but one. I am passionate about my career. As a school librarian, I have the opportunity to enrich the lives of young people everyday. I am passionate about cardmaking and scrapbooking and blogging. All of which allow me to meet other people who enjoy the same things that I do.

I am passionate about my art, because it brings out my creativity and lets me delve into something that lets me put aside the difficult things I see and hear working in the ED at a children’s hospital. It brings joy to others in a way that is so much better than just buying a gift…at least that’s what the recipients say! HA!

I am passionate about life~
I have a disease that has no cure
everyday that I am healthy I am grateful, that I get to spend it with my two children and husband.
I am passionate about my children, which means raising good, moral, kind, considerate & loving people who care for others. This is the hardest and greatest job that I am blessed & honored to have.
I am passionate about my husband & his dedication to his country (he is a Naval helicopter pilot) and to his family.
I am passionate knowing that God may not answer all of my prayers, but he sure does listen to them & helps me understand things clearer. My faith brings me peace, helps be breathe & reassures me that everything will be alright.
Of course I am passionate about paper crafting, aren’t we all?!?
September 11, 2008 at 6:12 am
I’m very passionate about life. I lost my husband, my family is all gone, and all my possessions were stolen in 2007. All my passion went away and I, too, nearly did. But, God was merciful and I’m still here. I have become passionate about every day, every minute, and every person in it. I love to share, watch people grow and comfort the sorrows in others lives, as my own have been. My art is not therapy to me, it is existence. I have begun a card ministry focusing on the heartache of surviving the trials and tribulations of every day life. God has blessed me. Linda Crowder

My passions are for my Jesus, my husband and kids, my church family and my stamping. I add in my stamping because I get such joy out of blessing others with my crafting. The joy of watching their expressions when they see what I’ve created. The joy of being able to share that passion by sharing supplies to help someone get started in the craft.

First of all, I am very passionate about my family. It has been my goal to be the best wife and mom to my family. They have always come first in my books and I am happy about that and enjoy doing that. Second I am passionate about being a good friend. I had an experience a while ago – where I learned a very valuable lesson about what it means to be a good friend – so now I try really hard to live my life by being a good friend. -My family: Without their love and support, I wouldn’t be where I am today. No matter what I’ve done, they are always there to listen and understand.
-My friends: It’s just nice to know that there are others that live near me and online friends that cheer when I’m happy and provide a shoulder to lean on when I’m not.
-Life: I just want to make sure I live every day to the fullest!

I am passionate about ANIMALS. In Michigan, a lot of animals are getting left behind in foreclosed homes. I am passionate about finding these animals new, loving adoptive homes. If people read this, remember there are no bad animals, just inexperienced owners. If we took as much time choosing our pets as we do our cars this world would be such a better animal loving society.
September 11, 2008 at 2:12 pm
I am passionate about beauty. But not the beauty the world sees in the perfect face or body, rather the beauty of nature, the beauty of art, the beauty in a face filled with lines from years of living, the beauty in my daughter’s voice and spirt, I could go on and on, but I won’t. Many times in my life people have said that “I’m a creator of beauty” because I love to create beautiful things whether its my flower gardens, or my artistic work like paper crafting (cards, scrapbooks, etc), interior design, a beautiful musical, wall art, etc. So thats my passion.
September 11, 2008 at 2:24 pm
I’m passionate about:
my family – they mean the world to me and I only hope I support them as much as they support me
my job – I’m a children’s librarian and I love meeting and helping the children and families who come in the library
my friends – knowing them and their families just makes my life so much richer and interesting
my stamping – I know it doesn’t sound as important as the other things I’ve listed, but I truly love creating something unique and special for others using my stamps, punches, papers, etc. Each handmade item, whether it’s a card or a memory book, is made from the heart especially for that person
Thanks for making me think about my life’s passions!

I happen to be very passionate about my friends. Being a navy brat growing up and now married to a marine you are normally not very close to your immediate or even extended family. I have always lived at least 3 states away from my grandparents, cousins, etc and at times we were all the way across the country. Because of this my friends have become a very big part of my life and while not blood related they are my family. I would do anything for these friends just as I would for my family and I know that they would do the same. I really think that it is a relationship that only people who have lived the military lifestyle can truly understand.

My passion is life. It is my husband, my hobby, my activities. I always try to enjoy what I do. I love that stamp set!
September 12, 2008 at 1:27 pm
I am passionate about my God who offers the free gift of salvation through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
I am passionate about my wonderful husband, my four children and their spouses, and my 8 awesome grandchildren. They make me smile everyday.
I am passionate about stamping and the opportunity it has given me to be an encouragement to others, which is something I am passionate about being.
Lots of “passionettes” follow these but they would be too numerous to mention. I’m thankful for each day God gives me. Thanks for offering this set. Reading through these comments has been so uplifting.
September 12, 2008 at 1:53 pm
oh goodness, what am I passsionate about? that is so very deep….
first my relationship with God – it goes beyond just a friendship or a Father/daughter thing. it is as necessary to me as the air I breathe. (think Michael W. Smith song!!)
second is my family – I come from a very abusive childhood, and I was never supposed to have children. So the fact that I have been married to a most amazing man for 22 years and have 3 precious sons is truly a blessing from God that I thank Him for daily!
and thank YOU for helping each of us to remember how special these things are to us!
Jennifer

I would have to agree with almost all of the above comments on what my Passion is for. There are many “first” and what to share over the “seconds” is hard to pick from….husband, family, my christian beliefs, stamping, reading, playing w/grandchildren….the list goes on & on. Thanks for a chance to win but being #230+ it’ll never happen with that darn “computer generator counter” thingy…they can’t count past 100 I don’t think!! LOL! Barb S.

PAPER. My other passion is paper! designing gardens, painting, sketching, making cards and scrapbooks.

I am passionate about living with purpose. I recently lost my Oma, her life story was the thing that books are written about (okay, one book) and she always lived with purpose and strong will. I love her for that and will miss her as the living example of that. Now, I will need to model that to my children. I insist that they know we are here for a purpose and that we must not waste the gift of days that God has given us.

I’m passionate about serving my community. I’ve been a volunteer fire fighter/Paramedic for 19 years in the communities where I’ve lived. Being able to help people when they are the most vulnerable is so fulfilling to me.

The thing I have actually been trying to be more passionate about is following God’s will for my life. It seems it is so easy to get side tracked, so I’ve been in a process of examining all parts of my life, including my crafting to make sure I’m honoring God in that area.
September 12, 2008 at 4:34 pm
I’m passionate about serving God in all the different ways He provides including church, family, friends, school and the joy of paper crafting too! What a fun question!

I am passionate about God and my family, which consists of my husband and three children. We did plan on having three kids so close in age (5 yrs, 3 yrs, and 1 yr) but they have blessed us in many ways. I love them and strive each day to make sure that they know how much I love them and how much God loves them too.

What a great prize. I am passionate about my lord, my family both near and far, and sending mail. I love paper and ink; often turing it into a card and the cards get sent to all kinds of folks. Some I know; some I don’t know at all. If I hear of someone struggling and needing a cheery note I get their address and mail them words of encouragement. I love it and am so blessed by it. (of course I send cards to my family members all the time – the mail man loves me as my mail box usually has several letters in it every day). I say its got to be the happiest hobby ever. Even though I seldom receive mail I still remain thrilled to do it – I guess that’s why they call it a passion for something huh! *wink*

I am passionate about not letting people feel left out. Humiliation is the most powerful tool for hurting someone and I am passionate about combating that. I dont wear ‘rose-tinted glasses’ i know that sometimes you just cant get on with other people but that doesnt give anyone the right to hurt them….

My passions are many… I have a great passion for my husband, a US Marine who also loves our Lord passionately which helps him do and go where the Lord leads him (and He has lead him to places that so need to hear and see the love of Jesus). I am passionate for my children and grandchildren. But the most important passion in my life is my relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is because of Him and His saving grace I am able to have true and great passion for the loved ones He has placed in my life.

I would have to say that right now my passion is serving the Lord, I am amidst a fundraiser that I have spent the last 4 month preparing, organizing and soliciting for and it will all culminate into the event next week. I love the feeling of helping others, raising money to help them. Thanks for this opportunity. Heidi

Becky—what a great question! Thanks for letting us share our passion! OK—I’ll try to be brief–Jesus Christ–he’s my hope and salvation; my sweet husband—he loves me and lives with my stamp stuff all over our small bedroom—TRUE LOVE! I am passionate about my family. I would do anything for them and pray that my two boys live long and wonderful lives. My DH has been serving in Iraq for the past year and a half and it has made our family even stronger. We can’t wait to have him come home soon to make our family complete again.

Besides my husband, children and reading books, I am passionate about recycling!
I am fortunate to live in a community that puts a strong emphasis on recycling. I am so happy that the elementary school is helping by teaching our kids the importance of recycling and by making a strong effort to practice what they preach. The school takes broken crayons, crocs, capri sun pouches, cookie packaging (oreos, 100 calorie packs…), etc and some of these items are sent to the manufacturer in exchange for cash for the school. Most of the time, my family of 4 only produces 1 bag of garbage to take to the curb each week, but you should see the recyle pile–it’s huge. Can you tell I’m passionate about this subject??

I am passionate about living up to the example that my grandmother set for me. An incomparable woman and just one of the better of God’s creations, I will feel I’m a success at creativity if I accomplish only a portion of what she reaped from her zest for life. I have her encouraging me from beyond and it gives me joy to create something with her in mind each day.
September 14, 2008 at 5:59 am
My first passion is the passion of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, without whom I would have no life or passion. What a glorious privilege it is to share this passion! Next is my family! Such a wonderful example of His many blessings toward us! Thank you for sharing with us! And, for this wonderful opportunity!

My father was a music teacher. I was blessed enough to have him teach me as a child. He was a great teacher, and I learned a lot from him. I think I have touched a lot of peopleās lives through teaching. As a matter of a fact, I know I have. I am so proud of my students, and hope to always learn more so I can always teach more.
September 19, 2008 at 11:48 am
My commitment is to God, family and home. I enjoy teaching music to children, and love leading believers into the presence of God through the gift of worship. Also love this site:-)
