OK…a couple of things for today! So…we were given our next Stamp Simply challenge by a guest this week! Heather Telford has asked the team to come up with a card using only sentiments!! NO image stamps! You can use patterned paper, repeat sentiments and whatever else you want…just NO image stamps! This is what I came up with 🙂
OK…first off…I am in love with the new Papertrey Polka Dot Parade papers. If you know me, you know I actually don’t use patterned paper that much when I stamp. I have to say though…I am in LAHAHAHAHOVE with these new papers. I blinged up some Maya Road flowers with Martha Stewart glitter to make the card “absolutely fabulous” 😉
So here is what the other girls have done! Read on after for what I did tonight!!!
Heather Telford (our lovely guest 🙂 )
Darlene Pavlick (our other lovely guest 🙂 )
So…today was the day. The day that 364 days before this day leads to this moment every year. The day that my husband spends stressing over for most of September and into October. The day in which all German teachers in South Jersey do not envy my husband for. The day where the Chicken Dance reigns supreme and the dutiful wife controls a kitchen full of parents leading them in the charge of cooking for 500 people. The day. The…FEST.
Gutes Essen, Gute Freunde, Gute Zeiten!
Good food, Good Friends, Good Times!
Collingswood High School OKTOBERFEST 2008! It was a success, a blast, and a night full of Bavarian madness! It is over John!! Thanks for looking 😉

This is such a cute card. I love the papers. I have had some of those flowers and haven’t know quite how to use them. Thanks for the idea. I love PTI’s papers, and looking back on your previous posts I have got to get over there and check out what’s new. I love that they’re offering a sample page of select papers. Great card and great projects. Looks like Octoberfest was too much fun!

Ok, first things first, doesn’t the Chicken Dance always reign supreme!?!? If it doesn’t someone should let me know. Is that why I get strange looks at the grocery store??? Ok…moving on. Your card rocks! Rockin with the polka(dots)! hehe. Ok, I really should put down the coffee – huh? Another fab creation Beck! Have a good weekend! Tell your hubby to put his feet up and relax – no more stressing needed!

Oh my goodness! Collingswood! My mom was the library director when the library was built — it used to be the old Carnegie library before the current library was built in 1974 or so… We lived in Cherry Hill but I really really knew Collingswood since my mom was there all the time… and her assistant still lives there and is a stamping friend of mine, even at 84 years young! I’ll have to email you 🙂
Beautiful card, by the way! Love it!
