First off let me say that I will have another project to post soon.  I have to finish some stuff up for PTI and new Doodle Factory images to mount and play with along with more pictures to show you from the stamp and scrap show.  So I will be busy!  I just wanted to talk a little bit about collections.  I find the idea of collecting things quite interesting.  I find the types of things that people collect extremely interesting.  My neighbor for example.  She has the coolest collection of chickens.  She also has a lot of things from the 50’s.  I think that lends itself so well to a particular type of design and they have mastered it.  We collect things around here as well.   John collects postage stamps and has a large collection of both US and especially German stamps which he was working on last night.  He also collects books, especially German books which can be hard to find places for sometimes.  A lot of them are hiding in the attic at the moment.  I collect more than stamps, ribbon and cardstock as well. John and I both have a love for pottery and historic redware from Pennsylvania and Germany.  I also used to collect Longaberger baskets and have been to Ohio several times to see them being made.   I have sinced stopped buying them because I have been running out of places to put them, but they

are still indeed a collection.  These are just some examples of our collections.

I also have a collection of samplers and milk bottles

also German Smokers.  These are one of my favorite things to collect.  They have such great personality.

and BOXES!  You KNOW I love boxes.  So the point of this post is to find out what YOU all love to collect.  I really do find it interesting and would LOVE to know!  So please share what interests YOU!!  Maybe it is antique whirlygigs or animals or stuffed animals or SOMETHING!  I would love to know!  What special things are a reflection of YOU!  Thanks in advance for sharing!
