PATTERN: You will only need one sheet of 81/2 by 11 cardstock for this purse.

I made this a “stampless” project today and focussed on using this insanely beautiful “Boardwalk” ribbon from American Crafts. You know the stack of paper we all have from AC Moore? Well…does this work or what? I also got the ribbon at AC Moore.
I made this project for my daughter Sophie’s friend Alecia. It is her birthday party today and Sophie wanted me to make her something. Isn’t that sweet? I will put in a gift certificate to the “Pop Shop” our local ice cream shoppe! It is such a cool place. Here is a picture of their sign and dining room:

I love what you did with this pattern. I am going to try it this weekend and give them to our neightbor’s daughters for Hallowe’en. Then I will have to think about a Christmas one.
Thanks for a great website.

The purse is lovely. I have some of that paper and didn’t really care for it until I saw the purse! LOL

I used the very same ribbon on this same bag 3 weeks ago for a friend. Great minds must think alike. I changed up the size a bit and used the ribbon up the sides to make just one handle. Such a great way to special-up a gift card. I love your blog.
